Staff who actually understand me, a shop-house turned hotel where I felt like I was part of history. Oh, and the convenience of parking - because who likes searching for spots?
Thin walls, because privacy is overrated. Listening to my neighbors' fascinating conversations and A/C symphonies all night was such a delightful experience.

Our stay was a good experience. They offered soundproof and neat rooms with bathroom and the Queen bed and the heater. Thoroughly enjoyed very helpful staff from the moment we arrived. Location: the hotel was right by a nice area with local Malay stalls, chic cafes and hip restaurants and the monorail station Dang Wangi. Easily reached Sushi King, located relatively near the property, had lunch/dinner there...

I absolutely loved the ambience of the hotel. The decoration had a warm and cozy feel to it, which made me feel right at home. The general areas were always kept clean and tidy, and the staff were always ready to help me navigate my way around the hotel. As a senior woman, I appreciate that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and elevators available for me to use. It made my stay very convenient and comfortable.
I would have loved to see more options for activities or entertainment that are specifically tailored for senior people. The children working there were very helpful, but it would have been even more enjoyable if there were more options available to cater to our needs.

I had the best deal ever! The room was so affordable, but it had everything I needed. The curtains were amazing, they blocked out all the daylight, giving me a solid sleep. Plus, the hotel is conveniently close to the train station and a mall with endless restaurant options and a supermarket. And here's the cherry on top, they had free water machines in the hallways! Jaw-dropping, right?

The rooms at Oyo 127 The Reeds Hotel are absolutely amazing! They have a cozy feel with beautiful hardwood floors and stylish decor. The private bathroom is a big plus, with hot-water showers and complimentary toiletries. The TV with satellite channels kept me entertained, and the free WiFi was a lifesaver for a budget traveler like me. The 24-hour room service was so convenient, and I loved having air conditioning to escape the heat. Plus, the free bottled water was a nice touch. I felt right at home in these rooms.
If I had to pick one thing, I guess I'd say that the bidet in the bathroom wasn't really my thing. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others might actually enjoy it.

The hotel offered a good deal with simple rooms at a low price. The curtains in the room effectively blocked daylight, allowing for a solid sleep. The location was key, being close to the train station and a mall with a great choice of restaurants and a supermarket. the availability of free water from the hallway machine was an added advantage.
The room showed signs of wear and tear, with stained walls and a poorly maintained bathroom. The cleanliness of the room, particularly the floor, was also lacking.
